I remember sometimes back in Ogbomosho when under g wasn't so developed... We barely always take a hike in the forest and we got free meat from hunting, free fruit like Mango and Cashew in the wild, wild growing cocoyam and potatoes

Clean fresh water is everywhere , infact if you are a miner you might get lucky in the woods mining Gold and other solid minerals even without skills, just follow them dig and make money

But with their desolate dry low resource region why would they always open their mouths and be vomiting, barking "the south are infidel, Arne, lesser humans".

They suppose to dey humble.

First of all, it is highly pedestrian and intellectually lazy to conclude that wealth is concentrated in the south solely based on the banking stats you provided.

Primary reason being typically, it is “haram” to earn interest on savings. This is why Islamic banks like Jaiz Bank emerged which feature interest-free banking, operating on the model of “Musharaka” (profit and loss sharing). Unfortunately the banks penetration is quite low as it cannot cater to much of the large expanse of northern rural areas where the bulk of the northern population are.

This is related to the secondary factor which is population density. The South is much more densely populated in comparison to the North and it’s much larger expanse of land. This contributes greatly to the banking stats you provided up there.

This is a widely held misconception my friend. Indeed some few states in the extreme north face the challenge of desert encroachment from the Sahara, but it is illogical to call a region that is the source of most of the agricultural produce consumed in the country a desert. Rice, beans, groundnuts, maize, wheat, millet, garlic, ginger, sorghum, sesame, onions etc. cannot be grown in a desert. A place that is the tomato headquarters of the country.

You’d be surprised to know we plucked mangoes and cashews not in the forests, but right in our backyard while growing up in the core North. Gold is reportedly a major factor behind the insecurity in Zamfara where it’s in abundance, among other precious stones and minerals like tantalite. Nigeria is blessed all round and a little more research would illuminate that fact.

Peter Obi of Labour Party is simply the best candidate and the man Nigeria needs desperately come 2023 presidential election. He outlined the issues that has bedevilled the country over the years proffering solutions to change the narrative once and for all. Peter Obi said:
