One problem we've got with so many so called literate in Nigeria right now is getting to read, understand and comprehend. the heading clearly state "No where in the bible does it reads a Christian cannot defend himself"

So for what reasons are y'all bringing out this bible verses for?? Perhaps y'all forgot Peter defended his master with a knife, what was he doing with it about??

Hear 1Peter 2:21-23

2a. The man made a false claim of what is written in scripture, and quoting directly from scripture one reveals the falsehood of his claim.

2b. Peter's foolish attempt at defending Jesus Christ, this against Jesus Christ's own teachings(and commandments) was a sin against God, transgression against God's Law. And it however happened in order that that prophesied by the prophets in in Isaiah 53 vs 12 , where it is written that He(Jesus Christ) was numbered among the transgressors , would be fulfilled.

If you read the passage - Luke 22 vs 35 - 38 & Luke 22 vs 47 - 53 - carefully, you will see that it was Jesus Christ Himself to helped set the seen for what was to take place that evening.. the fulfillment of what was written in Isaiah 53 vs 12.
