Today that Muslim terrorists attack churches and murder scores, attack Christian villages and communities is when Tinubu thinks that Nigerians have become better united to accept a same religion ticket. Don't fall the taqiyya. Religion is also part and parcel of culture. They will tell you religion doesn't matter that it's all about competence. Ask them what about tribe? It is this same "as long as they are competent" that allowed Buhari fix in completely useless people in sensitive positions till today. Give them an inch and they will take the entire area.

Abbo is inconsequential, he was elected under PDP to the Senate due to Atiku's influence in adamawa, but not long after taking his vow in the Senate, he crossed to APC. now that election is coming, he feared he might be irrelevant in adamawa politics, he's now using the muslim Muslim ticket of APC as an excuse to retrace his steps back to PDP

If na me be Tinubu I would have chosen the same. The fallout from picking a Northern Christian would have been worse than anything he's bound to face now with a Muslim Muslim ticket. The truth is simple, the battle will be decided and won in the North, nothing the South can do to stop Tinubu from having at least 50% of the votes in the South, so why wouldn't he place all his bets on the North?
