You can't force Multichoice to sublicense channels they legally bidded for and won, you'll have to go and bid by yourself during the next round. HiTv won premiership rights a few years ago and enjoyed same monopoly but couldn't maintain it because Nigerian run companies are shit at sustainability. RZArecta: A lot of Nigerian companies do well at sustainability (see Dangote). HiTV's problem was that they assumed a lot of things about their end user that in hindsight turned out to be flawed...ie Nigerians get cable because Premier league and champions league. Startimes is still around because they did not make that assumption |
