I am conducting a research for my MBA thesis and am required to carry a study to determine spontaneous customers' attitude in relation to how they perceive a new innovative brand as part of my MBA thesis for the Department of Global Marketing at the Universite de Nice Sophia Antipolis. I have decided to create a new innovative idea, on easy and convenient ready to drink alcoholic cocktail beverage in Cans, which can be enjoyed while hanging out with friends and family, by the poolside, party at the beach, clubs and pubs, hotels and restaurants and the most interesting part is that, it’s so much more affordable and pocket friendly. #One of the best part of getting an MBA is not really about passing the exams and getting good grades, rather its about the management cases you deal with. The cases makes you feel like you are running the organization (action learning). It instills some kind of (leadership) responsibility in you.

#I must add too, I loved the end of trimester exams (process based) whereby, if your answers (arguments/points as to why you took such management stand) for question A is not concrete enough, its almost certain your answer for question B wouldn't hold enough water.

#But boy, the take home assignments no be here o. Almost 8 of it per trimester under a strict deadline.

The Leicester MBA comprises 10 modules: 7 core modules, 2 electives and the dissertation. There are four exams (which are conducted at the British Council) and 5 assignments, before the dissertation. Also, the school gives you the option to specialize in any of the following areas: Marketing, Finance, HR, IT Management and Quality Management. I have chosen a specialism in IT Management.

I started the course in August 2009 and it cost me about 8,000 Pounds. I am not aware of any price changes.

Please can you give some information about the quality/standard/rigours of the Leicester MBA e.g. course content, lecturers, textbooks, exams etc

I am currently running an MBA at University of Leicester via distance learning. And, man, is this challenging or what?! From the very first module of the program, I experienced something about learning I never did through out my primary, secondary and university days in Nigeria. It's no wonder why many multi-national companies (including mine) favour international degrees to our local ones - I had always thought it was the slave mentality thing. But no, it's not.
All the modules have been very insightful so far (I'm currently on the 8th module of 10 in all) but I have found Business Ethics in a Global Context most interesting because of it's global view and comparisons about what constitutes ethical behaviour in business.
All things being equal I should be done by December this year.

Please can you be more specific as regards the overall quality/standard of the Leicester MBA?
