Archbishop Mustapha further lent credence to the legitimacy of this controversial clerics, when he spoke to newsmen over the weekend, by identifying one of the men dressed in bishopric attire.

The authority of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, had earlier disassociated herself from such scornful show of shame, paraded as Bishops.

Speaking to newsmen at the Headquarters of his ministry today in Lagos, the outspoken clergy who held a burial ceremony for Deborah Samuel who was killed and burnt to death by some religious bigots said "Tinubu has desecrated the altar of Jehovah by bringing fake people and miscreants to pose as Bishops, the office of a Bishop is held in high veneration in the Christendom, but these men have defiled it by bringing charlatans to act as Bishops, Tinubu will never become the president of this nation because he does not have respect and fear for the Almighty God".


He went ahead to reveal the true identity of one of the men, and told Tinubu to meet him at Gani Fawehinmi park by 10am on Saturday, he said "when they were doing all these, God told me to relax that he will give me evidence to fight for this and make Nigerians to know the truth, one of my former pastor whom I sacked about ten years ago was actually among them, his name is Pastor David Obi.

David Obi is never a Bishop, this is impersonation and fraud to our Jehovah, Christians must not allow this because they have shown total disrespect for doing this,I'm daring Tinubu to meet me at Gani Fawehnimi park by 10am on Saturday, to counter this truth because I trained pastor David Obi right from Bida ".

Did the man in question address himself as a Bishop? To the best of my knowledge, none of the men of God that attended the event told anybody that they are Bishop. Opposition simply gave all of them the Bishop title. The fact is that lots of pastors attended and the person under discussion on this thread is one of them. He’s not a fake pastor.
