Flash: Nigeria to begin the process of increasing power transmission from 5000MW to 7000MW as Nigerian engineers accept the 10 Mega Mobitra transformers from Siemens on Thursday July 28 2022, as part of the Nigeria-Siemens to distribute 25,000MW Electricity from the 5000MW today.

We’re also getting 10 substations from the Germans this year, following the 2020 approval by @MBuhari of €15.21m and N1.708bn Nigeria’s counterpart fund. A total sum of €62m will be used for the procurement of transmission transformers and substations from the Germans
