His Excellency Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshomole who was the guest speaker at the Paul Mary Achimugu Foundation First Lecture series 2022, titled Repositioning the Cotton , Textile and Garment Sector as the Engine for the Growth of the Economy advocates the revival of the CTG industry in Nigeria. Also, Adams in his speech tasks the key presidential aspirants of Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Rabiu Kwankwanso and others to make commitment on industrialization as against mere campaign rhetoric's that seem to have overshadowed the realities of what the nation needs. While applauding President Muhammdu Buhari's agricultural policy of Nigeria eating what it produces, he suggested similar approach on the textile industry and for foreign investors to set up industries in Nigeria instead of taking advantage on the population as a market, a WTO liberalization policy.
