Nigerians have also been reacting to Peter Obi’s claim on Sambisa forest.

The Labour Party presidential candidate at the Labour Party and the Coalition for Peter Obi Leadership Summit claimed that Sambisa Forest was double the size of Israel.

“…Sambisa Forest is twice the size of Israel and it is an agricultural land that can give us food,” Peter Obi stated.

The statement has been subjected to different fact-checking by Nigerians, as some maintained that the statement was figurative adding that Sambisa was actually bigger than Israel.

Others criticized Obi, labeling the statement as one of his ‘fake facts’.

Sambisa forest is more than twice the size of Isreal. Sambisa forest is 60,210 square kilometers. Isreal is 22,145 kilometer square.

It is common knowledge that sambisa forest is a very large expanse of land , as big as some states so why is buhari and his apc leaving it to waste only to depend on oil while their terrorists soldiers occupy it for their wicked activities.

Sambisa is a game reserve. How can 85% of a state be a game reserve.

Oby is not a geographer or land surveyor and she made her observation from 30,000ft in a private Jet circling round the reserve a couple of times.

How can she have cone to her estimated range?

Go to Bornu state land survey office or the National Parks authority to get the real size of Sambisa.
