I do read frontpage post on food section. na im i say make I play come this side today, even if na kpa kpa kpa food.

wanted to prepare stew rice with a meager amount, but I switch orientation to jollof immediately due to Price of things. na only meat sef na im change my mind.

I dashed across the street to buy meat, but when I discover say na about 8 to 9 pieces dey come out for N1000, I quickly shift.

Me and meat vendor.
me: madam give me meat
vendor: bross abeg wait make I finish with these people

I peered my eyes to see what amount sold to others(when I discovered she sold N1000 worth for a customer and the amount no even reach 9 pieces). i took a walk...

vendor: bross wait na, I go sell for you
me: I dey come back make I buy other things - na so I take japa

right now meat has joined the foods am keeping malice with. I can't come I kill myself.

so I finally switch to quick makeshift jollof rice

Rice: I have some at home. But 3 butter cups @ N220 per cup(depending on type of rice) will do.
Onion: N60
Sachet tomato paste: N100
pepper: N100
knorr seasoning: N20
Curry: N30
Groundnut oil: bought measured one, N500 for 35cl plastic coke bottle. not using all though. in essence, two 70ml(an equivalent of 7cl) power oil sachet will do. let's put that at N300

do the maths your self, I don belefull at least

When you eat to satisfaction, you belch hard

Next time, look for tasty tom's jollof mix, it has pepper and onions in it and has this unique aroma it gives.

You'll save 100naira and use it to buy crayfish.

Considering your budget, you should not have bought that amount of oil.
One sachet of power oil(big size) would've been enough, then the change would've have been enough for some crayfish at least.

You even afford this kind food. Some get only garri to sip.

No matter how hard and expensive things might be , there will always be a way to cook nice meal for yourself. Well-done bros!! We go survive!!
