ALIMOSHO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY: GET IT RIGHT!

I would have remained silent if it hadn’t been for a barrage of calls and messages from well-wishers and admirers of Mayor K.K. from across ethnic and political lines. What I referred to as a gimmick in the media. Some people’s strategy to confuse and distract those that are steadfast and remain focused towards the success of our Party, APC in the highly anticipated 2023 General Election, as the Primary Election has gone.

To put the record straight: Firstly, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos State held the House of Representatives Primary Election for Alimosho Federal Constituency at the APC Lagos State Secretariat, Acme, Ikeja amid tight security on May 30, 2022, where Ganiyu Adele Ayuba won the other aspirants with 50 votes to nil. This election that produced Ayuba as the flag bearer of our great party, the APC, was free and fair, coordinated by the APC Primary Election Committee and duly observed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Secondly, two aspirants of the party sued Ganiyu Adele Ayuba, Esq. in different litigations, seeking his disqualification as the Party Flagbearer. The Federal High Court sitting in Lagos State gave these separate judgements in favour of Ayuba, an affirmation that he is the legitimate flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress for the House of Representatives in Alimosho Federal Constituency. In one of the judgements, the court based the judgement on the written report of the All Progressives Congress and that of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC that the primary election was actually held.

It is clear that those who spread this fake news or gimmick are not conversant with the new Electoral Act 2022 and I don’t know how long it will take them to study and understand it. Let’s learn from precedence, the Obanikoro & Elegusi, Lawan & Machina, and Akpabio & Udom matters. This is an issue for another day.

I urge all Party faithful and supporters of Mayor K.K. to remain focused and confident that Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba, Esq. is the authentic and legitimate Flagbearer of our party for the House of Representatives in Alimosho Federal Constituency.

I make it bold to say that Mayor K.K. is working and strategizing tirelessly every day with the stakeholders in our constituency to ensure that our great party wins all positions in the 2023 General Election.

He is known for always reaching out his hand in friendship to everyone. Mayor K.K. is undoubtedly the most popular among the people and has the majority support of the people to represent Alimosho Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber of our country.

Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba, Esq. (Mayor K.K.) APC Candidacy is intact and not negotiable.

I appreciate all the well-wishers and those that showed concern! May Almighty Allah give us the prowess and grace to witness his emergence as our voice in Abuja come 2023.

Our south eastern folks will deplete the APC vote in Lagos because most of their votes will go for Obi in the presidential election while they may opt for PDP in the state and federal assemblies’ elections.
