This contradicts the statement from the Nigerian Army

Some soldiers of the Nigerian Army have reportedly gone on a shooting spree, killing two workers at a block industry and an elderly man in his shop located at Ekeututu market area, along Ohukabia road in Orsu-Ihitte-Ukwa, Orsu Local Government of Imo State.

The incident, SaharaReporters reliably gathered, happened on Tuesday afternoon.

Sources, who spoke to SaharaReporters, gave the names of the two block moulders shot dead as Ugochukwu Obianeli and Nonso Oga.

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, also revealed that the soldiers came from Obinze Artillery Brigade, Imo State.

The source said "Nigerian Soldiers invaded Ekeututu Market yesterday, August 30, 2022 and shot two persons dead. The deceased are Ugochukwu Obianeli and his colleague, Oga Nonso. The incident happened around noon at a block industry site in the Ekeututu market area along the road to Ohukabia.

"Soldiers invaded the market area and when the people got the information, they started running away for safety. Still, these two young men who were at the block industry site molding blocks which was part of what they did to earn a living were unlucky as they were shot by the invading soldiers from the Nigerian Army, Obinze.

"Information also has it that one elderly man from Ubahaorsu who deals on electrical materials in the said Ekeututu market was shot on his two legs by the trigger-happy soldiers who caught him in his shop where he was taking refuge as he could not run like other younger ones.

"The soldiers brought him out of his shop and upon realising he was an old man instead of killing him, they shot him on both legs and abandoned him to his fate.

"The report has it that the man had also died."

Efforts to speak with the Director, Army Public Relations, Brig Gen Onyema Nwachukwu, were on successful as he did not take his calls and had yet to respond to a text message sent to his line.

Nigerian army, Obinze is apparently above the law!
Terrorists and bandits roam freely all over Abuja, they are protected by the army!
Innocent traders and bystanders are shot freely and without regards to human rights, because they're Igbos.
Thanks to Buhari.

All the bigots that are quick to accuse IPOB of attacking their ‘darling and professional security personnel’ (as wrong as that assertion is), will see this one and move on to the next thread! After all, it’s ’nyamurees’ being shot so they must have deserved it!

If this report is true then the soldiers should never have killed them after rounding them up but looks like they went after them from intelligence report.

It is better to join others to call for thorough investigation. This same place is where Nigerian soldiers are being killed and the folks allegedly conspiring against the security forces. Seems they do not have leaders in that community who can resolve this perenial attacks and counterattacks in orsu and it is really sad.

Doing cement and block moulding work does not mean the alleged victims are not involved in the killing of Nigerian soldiers sent their to chase out those causing troubles in that community and the soldiers are not God who can not err.

Any fair minded person must call for thorough and independent investigation. The soldiers being killed have families too and some are even from same Imo state.

NIGERIA ARMY, MURDER 2 BOYS IN SHORT NICKER AND WITHOUT SHIRT, WEARING SLIPPERS, YET MAKING ALL THIS NOISE LIKE SAY NA ARMED FIGHTERS DEM FACE.

THE ZOO IS GONE.

NIGERIA NO GET ARMY, BUT A BUNCH OF COWARD ATTACKING CIVILIANS.

Troops of Headquarters 82 Division Nigerian Army, made up of troops of 34 Artillery Brigade, in conjunction with troops of Nigerian Navy, Air Force and other security agencies on Tuesday 30 August 2022 neutralized two combatants of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its militant wing Eastern Security Network (ESN) along Eke Ututu - Ihitte Nansa road in Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State.

The troops encountered the dissidents while carrying out a raid operation around the general area of Orsu Ihitte Ukwa and Ihitte Nansa. The neutralized members had taken position to launch one of their primed rocket launchers, when they were engaged and taken out by the vigilant troops.

The fearless troops were unhurt, as Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) deployed by the irredentists exploded at Eke Ututu Market, destroying some of the shops in the market.

This is exactly how the heart of the average Nigerian reacts to any information about Igbos. To them, any evil that is visited on us is well deserved. From the various police 'accidental discharges' that characterized the pre-buhari regime, through the current military killings of Igbo civilians, the average Nigerian rejoices at such news. For them, we don't deserve to exist. Unfortunately for them, we will continue to exist and even beyond that,we will live life to the fullest by facing our haters. Our freedom will come eventually.
From the pix tendered by even the terrorist Nigerian army, one can see that both young men were unarmed and even engrossed with their manual labour for the day. Nothing stops an unbaised army from arresting them if they were acting on intelligence. They didn't pose any immediate danger to anyone. Why were they shot point blank? Simply because they're Igbos. "Just tag them IPOB and no Nigerian will bat an eyelid" Well, this will soon end too.
The Igbo man will soon not be killed for sport anymore by the Nigerian security men. This is for sure.

Ha!

This is why the Nigerian Army rushed to put some nonsense on the floor, take picture, and claim they are bombs

They murdered two block workers and claimed they were ESN

This is what they do all the time to try and demonise IPOB, as well fool Nigerians into thinking they are working

They just kill anyone they like and claim the person is an armed IPOB militant
