mtn is a disgrace to nigeria telecoms.imagine i tried to migrate to funlink extra yesterday,they charged me N25 and subsequently charged me N30 making N50.INFACT MTN are full of fraudsters who just dropped yaho-yahoo stuffs.Their customer care is zero,imagine last week,they debited my account N100 on no account and i called their customer care around 4 am.imagine what i hear when a customer service officer picked the call,he was talking to the female officer,omo u are too sexy ooo.i listened very well to their conversation and i shouted hello hello for like 50 times,they later yanked me off the calls.i tried another officer later in the day,no one was there to pick as the phone went ringing and ringing.

it's only a matter of time. I know they are losing customers gradually. Some people have migrated already and alot more might still migrate to other networks if nothing good comes out of their tarrif plans.! Until recently, I have stopped using my 8year old MTN sim card, except to receive calls! I use Etisalat line now, really, MTN can't deny the fact that they are losing customers .

most folks are complaining but the Coy is making all the profits still!
it goes to show they have something other networks dont have. i suggest other networks adopt their aggressive & effective management methods coupled with lower tariffs, then will mtn be challenged in real terms and pushed out of the market leader position.

You are definitely an MTN staff because you are lying thru your teeth. My brother recently sent me an MTN N1500 card and I decided to sell it because i dont use my MTN sim no more. It took me a full day to sell it because everyone kept telling me they only use MTN to receive, not to call. Even some of the most devout MTN users around me now call with either Etisalat or Airtel or Glo. Even the guys selling recharge cards around me refused to help me and told me I should have asked my brother to send Glo or Airtel. MTN call revenues have dropped a lot but they are stil fronting. It is normal in business as they wouldnt want to look like it is affecting them, but it sure is telling on them. Most importantly, they are brewing bad blood with customers and it will tell on them in the future. They have a very bad customer service department who are taking Nigeria for granted. In Ghana, their calls are very cheap but here we are taking for a ride.

They are yet to wake up to realities on ground. It's been over 8 year since I bought their line and that 8 years of experience has taught me that Etisalat and Airtel rocks and I'm with them all the way. eMpTy N is just for texting eMpTy N lines

What as Nigeria done to deserve this from south Africa telecom companies? MTN in nigeria is nothing to write home about, likewise Dstv, anyway dstv is now facing there unsolvable problem which i believe as time goes on Mtn will soon join, greedy companies

MTN claims to have over 40million lines/customers. I have 3 active SIM cards i dont use. Many of my friends have at least 2 SIM cards. I dont think they actually have up to 20million customers. NCC also claims over %70(about 90million people) of Nigerians have phones lines. Well guess what? I have over 8 SIM cards and same goes for a lot of guys around. Number of SIM cards sold or number of lines in use is not equivalent to number of Nigerians having phones, please.
