garfield1:Atiku is former VP. That's a national post. The highest Tinubu got is governor. That's a local post. Oshiomole contested under Labour party in 2007. He later moved to AC. Same with Ngige. He contested under PDP for guber which earned him popularity in Anambra. Tinubu started and nurtured party with state funds. He is the singular reason why Lagos is in so much debt even with enormous resources at their disposal. |

Agboriotejoye: Another careless and childish talk.did oshiomhole and ngige win any election outside acn? Did they win under acn or not? Is anambra and edo outside the southwest? Who controlled acn? you get serious problems and people are exposing daily.get help soonest Tinubu used state funds,so what? Can you swear for any politician? Did atiku not shamelessly contest for election in that same acn? The vp post, was he not handpicked by obj? Since then, how has he fared compared to tinubu? Can he form any party from the scratch like tinubu? Atiku is shameless and overrated and Tinubu will humiliate and retire him...you just enjoy losing.after what tinubu went through to win apc primary, you still want to bet against him? After he wins, you will start another argument on how he can't control apc....such obsession...yabakeft things.. By the way,no state is not in debt oh son |

garfield1:Oshiomole was in Labour party when he ran for Edo governorship. It was due to a lack of funds that made him liase with AC then since Tinubu had money. I was in Benin then so I know what I'm saying. Ngige was already well known in Anambra as a former governor especially with his experience with the Uba brothers. Even in the SW, Tinubu's so-called political strength is overrated. From 2007 when he first floated AC to 2015, AC candidates never won the SW. They always lost. Even in Osun, they won only one election free and fair which was Aregbe's second term in office. His first term was through the courts, which was a judgment that prompted the decision to take governorship appeals up to the SC. Oyetola lost both times he contested. All other candidates like Fayemi of Ekiti, Ajimobi of Oyo, Amosun of Ogun were already popular in their states having held previous offices in other parties before joining AC. As a matter of fact, Tinubu backed Akeredolu in his first push for governorship of Ondo and he lost. When he won in his second attempt, he did not have the backing of Tinubu. Atiku was one of the founders of SDP, PDP, AC, APC. So it is fallacious to say simply because he has not floated a party on his own, he is not a strong politician. Floating a party is not the main thing. It is what the party can achieve that matters. Besides that, this election is about regional candidates. Atiku from the North, Tinubu from the West and Obi from the East. Whenever such scenario has come up in Nigeria, it is the North that always wins |
