Where did he practice because I could only see appointed, appointed, etc which is common for the judges from the North. Most never practiced apart from appointment etc from day 1 of their practice and always still make it to the highest law echelon of the country while Southern judges toil through sweats of private/public practice to rise to the rank of appointment and are usually always not preferred if there's a Northern substitute
