Meaning those in the upper floors doesnt have time to run

it started on the right side of the lower level. So that should give time for people to attempt an evacuation. Because when that fire really got going, I doubt anyone on any floor will survive that

Watching the video, the fire started from the middle floor. They failed to contain it or maybe they responded late (like their Nigerian counterparts).

From the look of things, the building was not fitted with sprinklers. The whole edifice has burnt to the ground.

Mein Gott!!!!.... folks in all the surrounding buildings should evac fast.
Once the temperature of that fire reaches 425 celsius a cascade of structural failure is triggered and at 650 degrees its all over.

I can't live or work anywhere near the top and not have a closet full of parachutes for family and friends.

I suspected there's no security men or women guiding that building .. in uae such incidents are rare.. security is mandatory in every building or facilities in uae 24/7 on shift duty, if fire starts smoke dictator will dictate the smoke, and send alarm to control room or ground floor reception security desk, security there will saw it check the panel to know where the fire is coming, immediately sprinkler will start splashing heavy water, FM200 will release it gas to stop the fire, already civil defence and police has seen it and already on their way , fire extinguishers , waterline with pipe are in each floor to assist.. before fire escalate this far its either the security is in deep sleep somewhere and nobody in the country room or Reception desk or its intentional fire to claim insurance.. that's why security Guard must go through training before becoming a security guard... any slightest mistake u are going to jail because u were trained for emergencies...

That's why uae is the most safest In the world, u will see empty building, manned by men guiding it

nothing will happen to them.. immediately smoke dictator dictate smoke it will alert someone in the control room to evacuation the building.... all the lift will come to ground floor, staircase is the safest when fire engulfed tall building they were designed for emergency purposes.... before such huge fire will reach this point , all the residents are somewhere enjoying chilled zobo counting their losses.. that place is not 9ja
