Exactly why courts should refrain from making orders that might be in vain as in the present situation. It is simply impossible to carry out wishing the lifespan of the interim order as it ends up granting the claims of the FG without a trial on the merits. The judicial reasoning here is faulty.

Thinkam:
grin Buhari and APC government that don't respect rule of law, expects ASSU to obey a court order...
No government has disrespected the judiciary and court of law, like PMB and APC, so ASSU and NANS can do as they please, they are following the footsteps of this government.

Atiku is coming

contempt of court order attracts fines and jail terms. ASUU shouldn’t copy government in disobeying court orders, it has grievous fines. government can only do it because they are government. is like parable of rat and lizard swimming, rat comes out soaked, lizard comes out dry.

ASUU will regret it.

The current leadership of NANS is just another toothless dog barking carelessly... If the useless Ngige decide to grease the palms of NANS leaders with some few dollars, you won't hear them speak, infact, they'll support the FG.

I'm wondering why NANS haven't even sued the FG and ASUU together. It's simple, they're letting their personal quabble get in the way of NANS.

Abeg withdraw their salaries and mass terminate them

I'm with students in this one. We have lots of graduates that qualified at home and abroad looking for jobs

You think it's easy to sack all university lecturers at a go? APC government would've done that since without thinking of going to court

You blocked the roads to Airports and other major roads yesterday so Government could intervene for ASUU to call off the industrial action! Now the Court says ASUU should be back in class and you are complaining! No be juju be that? You will be tear gassed if you try to block any road again! Small pikin dey worry una!

Does the court think I can't stand in front of students in a classroom and still be on strike?

I guess when I stand there and teach them nonsense they would not know the difference.

What is the interest of NANS in all of these? Industrial Court has given a verdict but NANS disagree.

Do they want to continue on the strike?
Is the strike action indeed political?

NANs need to tell us what we do not know.
