Supporters of the presidency of Mr. Peter Obi, known as Obidients, have thanked both the Lagos State and the Nigerian government for deploying security men at the historic Lekki Toll Gate ahead of their big rally tomorrow, Saturday October 1, 2022.

The walk themed "Obidient Forward Ever Movement" is the Lagos State version of a weekend-held walk which is to take place in the state.

Recall that the Lekki Toll Gate became a socially significant place in Nigeria after reports of the alleged military killing emerged in October 2020.

On October 20, 2020, some Endsars protesters were said to have been shot at and killed, while an extensive investigation and report carried out by Lagos State months later say otherwise. This has made the toll gate a place of interest, therefore it is understandable that the government would want to prevent any further incident at the place.

Reacting to the news, a Twitter user @Feranmi357 said;

"Good. We do not want to cause problem, so we are not afraid of them"

Another user @Somtometrics4U reacted by commending Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu:

"Kudos Sanwo Olu. He is being proactive in forestalling any violence. Obidients please play by the rules"

Another user @Demolaokunu90 replied to the news:

"God bless the government of Lagos State... The rally will not be hijacked. We hope to have a peaceful rally tomorrow."

Peter Obi is a presidential candidate running under Labour Party in Nigeria.

It will be baba of rallies tomorrow

When I saw the pics of the policemen, it gave me joy.
Obidents have rallied in jos, portharcourt, owerri, abuja, ibadan, osun, kano , taraba, benue, nasarawa, ebonyi etc and there has been no record of any unruliness or anything Destruction. It has been Peace , joy and happiness.
Having the Nigerian police force on ground should make lagos state rally the best and free from agbero molestation.

Lagosians, lets show them where we stand. We are obidents.

Tomorrow, Tinubu agbado urchins will run to Tinubu backyard and hide like in the pic below, while peeping like a dog scared to death as Obidients March in an unprecedented support for Peter Obi.

Lol... I know u guys r jittery right now. The major reason why Tinubu ran away was the shock from the Abuja rally & now the mere thought of collecting wotowoto again this weekend in his own backyard scares the hell out of him. I'm sure Bisi Akande will follow the cardiologist's advice & keep phones & TV out of Tinubu's reach until monday so his condition doesn't relapse.
Well,here's wishing him a quick recovery cause I need him back here ASAP. There'll be no hiding place for the looters & destroyers of our country.

Yes political rallies are held in place designated for such and not on very busy motor ways ..let them go to stadium or TBS
