Who Is Dr Festus Goziem Okubor?

The fabricated storyline by the deputy senate president paid writer Fejiro Oliver to put a hole in the integrity of Dr Festus Goziem Okubor and rubbish his hard earned reputation is dead on arrival.

Fejiro Oliver records is in the public domain well known by everyone as a propaganda and a political blackmailer who has gone to prison for libelous charges. In his usual satanic lying tongue to please is paymaster and market what my people referred to as bad market. He went extra miles in attempt to assassinate a character that is worthy of emulation by all those who seek to make impact in society in the person of Dr Festus Goziem Okobor.

He said Dr. "Okubor is serving a lifetime ban from the practice of medicine from the Nigerian Medical And Dental Council for the alleged crime of the rape of a married patient on the diagnostic table. He also alleged that Festus Okubor fled from Bauchi under the cover of the night to escape public lynching after raping the sick woman".

Fejiro Oliver secret reporter is a media outlet for propaganda and cheap blackmail. It is a criminal act for Secret Reporters championed by a well known blackmailer Mr. Oghenedoro Ortega AKA Fejiro Oliver to make false publication against the Dr Okubor the write-up by Fejiro is not only barbaric but malicious and mischievous sponsored by wind chasers.

Claiming that Dr. Festus Okubor is serving a lifetime ban from the practice of medicine from the Nigeria Medical And Dental Council for the alleged rape of a married patient and other unpredictable allegations by Fejiro Oliver against Dr Festus Okubor can best be describe as a complete false and a mere propaganda from the pit of hell.

This petty and fabricated lies has expose the fact that Fejiro Oliver who is the head of Secrets Reporters is not only a complete blackmailer, liar and a dubious solidified criminal who only feeds through the blackmail of innocent people in society. This claim is a clear indication that criminality & blackmailing reasoning has overshadowed the mentality of Fejiro Oliver.

Fejiro has over the years remained an Insensitive Blackmailer, dubious criminal who sniff money out of his victims, foolish in reasoning and lack professional knowledge on journalism. Though Mr. Fejiro Oliver has made several attempt to get the attention of Festus Okubor but unfortunately for him, he does not know that Okubor can't be distracted by unfounded allegations, insinuations, brazen blackmails and the putrid smear campaign championed by Fejiro in the expectations of financial rewards.

The general public should ignore the orchestrated attempts by Fejiro Oliver to sully the integrity of Innocent Nigerians who are being tarred with the brush of blackmail without any concrete evidence. In time to come Fejiro will realised that all his sponsored malicious effort against Dr Festus Okubor is a wasted effort and will not yield him that which he desperately seek. Let me do a little introduction of the personality of Dr Festus Goziem Okubor.

Who is Dr. Okubor?

Dr. Okubor hails from Ute-Erumu in Ika North East Local Government Area, Delta state.
He is revered in his hometown for his education, honesty and truthfulness.
As a pious and devout Christian, Dr. Okubor single-handedly built St. Michaels parish, an ultra-modern Anglican Church for the worship of God and handed it over to the Anglican Communion.

Born in October 1960 at Ute-Erunmu to the late School Principal, Festus Okubor (Snr.), and Madam Grace Okubor. Dr. Festus Okubor attended St. James Primary School, Agbor and Edo College, Benin City, before proceeding to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he bagged a degree in medicine.

A completely detribalised Nigerian, He moved to Biu, Borno state with his wife, where he set up the communities first Private hospital in in 1989 which was known as El Shaddai Medical Centre. A hardworker, Dr. Okubor came down to Lagos to continue his medical practice. By dint of hard work and perseverance, he became the Assistant General Manager of the International Standards Insurance Company Limited, Lagos, where he laid the ground work for what is currently the health insurance industry in Nigeria today.

With the lifting of the ban on partisan politics by the General Ibrahim Babangida regime in June 22, 1989, the dissolution of 13 political parties by the same regime and the subsequent formation and recognition of two political parties namely the Social Democratic Party (SDP), and the National Republican Convention (NRC). Dr. Okubor joined some progressive persons to float one of the early parties which never saw the light of the day as a result of the ban on politics by the military.

The Babangida regime gained notoriety for plunging pauperised Nigerians into a political brouhaha with the annulment of the June 12, 1993 election perceived to be the freest conducted in Nigeria and won by Chief MKO Abiola. The emergence of General Sani Abacha as Nigeria’s new military Head of State in November 1993 saw the lifting of the ban on politics and the formation of five political parties including the Grassroot Democratic Movement (GDM).

As a democrat, Dr. Okubor joined other progressive forces to garner support for the new party – the GDM. At the end he was elected National Publicity Secretary of the party at their national convention in Kaduna. After the demise of Abacha in June 1998, the military again dismantled all political structures including the GDM. With the birth of the fourth Republic under Obasanjo, Dr. Okubor became Chairman, Ika North East LGA in 2002. In 2003, he became the State Director of Protocol.

He was later appointed Commissioner for Special Duties; for Information and later for Health. In 2008, he became the Chairman, Delta State Hospital Management Board. Between 2010 and 2011, he was the Deputy Director General, Uduaghan Campaign Organization. Dr Okubor is a sports lover, with a special interest in Badminton. he hosts the Festus Okubor Badminton Tournament for young students in Delta state, and he serves on the board of the National Badminton federating body. A Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International, Dr. Okubor is a generous man who has committed his personal resources to improving the lives of people including the less privileged, widows, brilliant but indigent students and has assisted many youths to secure gainful employment across the country and abroad.
