DeOTR: Nah. Did you know what won it for Abiola? It was the votes from the North central and South South that won it for Abiola because the Hausa and Fulani didn't vote him despite Muslim Muslim ticket except Kano. Without the North Central and South South, Abiola would have lost. |

Is only a wicked youth or Nigerian will see all the pains and poverty APC has inflicted on Nigerians, and still pray or campaign for any candidate in APC to rule Nigeria again. Is only in Nigeria we see demons in human form in day light campaigning for these wicked oppressors. Wondering why people will be so tribalistic that they don't have human feelings nor care about the poors, sick, homeless and dead bodies littered on the streets of Nigeria. APC has failed us and any presidential candidate from APC will still be controlled by same cabal, and thus fail Nigerians the more. 1 Like |
I thought the argument was that Buhari did nothing at all and there was no progress to continue from? Anyway let's discuss some of your points. He has done more damage to Nigeria, irreparable damage. Debts are no problem if we continue to expand the tax net, stop subsidies, and complete gas projects. Debt is a problem if your national income is shrinking to $30 billion as the national budget for a country of 210 million people is a disgrace. Bloated government agencies, nepotism and corruption are the root cause. Why has the government failed to recoup the $64 billion that the IOC owes the country? Why isn't the MDA remitting funds to the treasury? Why isn't NLNG remitting funds to the government? This is bad but the COVID contributed too. Note that Nigerian Government did not lay off any Government worker during COVID-19 and even during 2016 recession. Nigeria is an oil-rich and gas-rich country in 2015, the country was exporting 1.8 million barrels/day in 2013, it was 2.5 b/d the target was 3 million b/d, yet Buhari, the minister of petroleum has reduced the export to 700k b/d. Why aren't the refineries working its now 7.5 years? Nigeria needs problem solvers and not people that will always blame one issue or the other, if it's not Covid, it's the previous government. if the APC and Buhari had no plan to fix Nigeria why did they run fo This Government also brought in the N-power which many have benefited from. Who cares about PDP? Stick to the failure Buhari government. The government has no policy to transform the economy because they are clueless. Oil shortage is also due to lack of investments and maintenance over the years by foreign companies because there are lesser funds now for them due to climate change. Buhari and his government are still billions of dollar of oil. |

He has done more damage to Nigeria, irreparable damage.I don't think so. Why isn't NLNG remitting funds to the government?Yeah if we block the loopholes and improve gas infrastructures, do more tax reforms, we would get more revenues. Buhari has been improving our non oil tax revenues, ease of doing business, etc. The corruption in NNPC should definitely be checked. Nigeria is an oil-rich and gas-rich country in 2015, the country was exporting 1.8 million barrels/day in 2013, it was 2.5 b/d the target was 3 million b/d, yet Buhari, the minister of petroleum has reduced the export to 700k b/d. Why aren't the refineries working its now 7.5 years?Nigeria is an oil rich country but in 2015, 27 states were bankrupt and had to be bailed out. Current production is 1 million bpd. |
