Nigeria abandoned its plans to host the Africa Basketball Nations' Cup after losing the bid to Libya in 2009, the former assistant NBBF coach said Masai Ujiri, a former assistant coach, Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), has decried the country’s apathy to host the Africa Basketball Nations' Cup after losing the bid to Libya in 2009. Ujiri, speaking in Lagos on Tuesday, said that Nigeria was long overdue to host the Africa Basketball Nations' Cup and the World Basketball Championships.
