Is it not better we go back to coins and cowries? What's the meaning of this?

And to think they spent billions of Naira doing this nonsense is really laughable.

They are indirectly showing how they have devalued Naira. Take a look at the colours. They are telling you that they have reduced N1000 to N50, N500 to N20 and N200 to N10. grin

So are they telling us what those currencies are worth now?

Cause that 200 is looking like 10naira, the 500 like 20 naira and the 1000 naira like 50 naira.

Make we just kuku remove 10 naira, 20 naira and 50 naira from circulation.

Is it that you wake up every morning and insult your father? Why can't you be reasonable enough to ask questions without insulting your father?

There's this satisfaction you get when using brand new mints. It's psychological. Happened with the 500 and 1000 naira notes. cheesy

Can't wait to start using these too, untill the cashless policy comes full circle.

actually it's Nigerians that did it. Nigerians keep speculating and adding prices to goods. someone check Dollar rates online, tell his mum, that one immediately add price to garri, the woman selling oil, seeing garri have added price also increase hers, everyone keeps add until 5 naira, 10 Naira and 20naira got eliminated

Doesn't the government have the power to regulate prices?

You are not informed. For your information, oil theft, money laundering by the government are the major causes. Another major cause is government policies that encourage deficit budgets.
