Markets Forced To Close For Tinubu’s Home-coming Rally In Lagos by lekanolas: 11:48am On Nov 26, 2022 |
Some major markets in the Lagos State were closed for business on Saturday. The markets were closed by market leaders because of the mega rally by the All Progressives Congress (APC). The rally is scheduled for today at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere area of the state. The leaders of the markets were forced to close the markets according to orders from the Iyaloja-General of Lagos, Folashade Ojo. Ojo is the daughter of the presidential candidate of the party, Bola Tinubu. Markets like the popular Ojuwoye market in Mushin and the Oshodi market were closed when our correspondent visited the markets this morning. It was however learnt that there was no government directive in that regard except the one passed on by market leaders in the state. The 24,000-capacity stadium was already filled to the brim as at 8 am by the APC faithful drawn from the 20 Local government areas and 37 LCDAs of the state. The major roads leading to the stadium were blocked to traffic while vehicles were diverted to other convenient routes. Meanwhile, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Dr. Olajide Adediran, popularly called Jandor has berated the alleged order to shut down the markets for the mega rally by of the APC. https://newsday.com.ng/markets-forced-to-close-for-tinubus-home-coming-rally-in-lagos-today/ |

Obi come rain come sunshine is the incoming president. The old men, likes of Tinubu and Atiku has looted Lagos and Nigeria resources. They know Obi is better than them combined together. They gathering against Obi is not for the sake of poor Nigerians but out of pride and corruption. Tinubu is a Drug Baron who should not come out for politics if it was in a developed world. Tinubu has made life in Lagos highly expensive , and we are wondering why he is coming out to make life of Nigerians more difficult. Tinubu knew that Buhari was not the best for Nigerians but because of his selfish interest to be president he pushed him to us. People were killed in our south west and Sunday Igbowo arrested but the druggie didn't say anything because of his selfish interest. Atiku has ruled Nigeria as vice president and couldn't deliver, so is it now that he will deliver! We have tried PDP and APC but they failed. Is time to try Labour Party. A mad man says he does the sign of the cross in front and at the back because he doesn't know where God's help could come from. There is no harm in trying Labour Party. These arrogant Tinubu and Atiku cannot be accessed by the poor mass as could to Peter Obi. 1 Like |
