The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, Mr. Ossy Onuko has eulogized Governor Chukwuma Soludo on the successful recruitment and hanging over of employment letters to about five thousand teachers employed by his administration immediately he resumed office.

Mr. Onuko who gave the commendation after the Governor had performed the symbolic presentation of the letters to the beneficiaries at the International Convention Centre, Awka, noted that the Governor has indeed proven once again that he has the best interest of Ndi Anambra at heart.

The ACTDA boss made it clear that what the Governor has done was to re-assure Ndi Anambra and the residents of the state once again, that he will fulfill all his campaign promises, and that he is not a usual politician who promise what they cannot do.

Mr. Onuko appealed to the new teachers to justify their appointments by being dedicated to duty at all times, and ensure that the state maintains her position as the leading light in education not just in Nigeria, but across the globe.

He further thanked Governor Soludo for prioritizing education amidst economic hardship bedeviling the world, and expressed optimism that as a former Central Bank of Nigeria governor, the Anambra Governor has all the requisite knowledge and the technical know-how to make Anambra a prosperous and liveable homeland.

Mr. Onuko equally promised that ACTDA will continue to implement its mandate of ensuring that the Awka Capital Territory regains its rightful place when compared to its contemporaries.
