I once said to someone that one of the finest ways to raise a child is to instill in them the value of not believing anything they read or hear in the media.

Nowadays, practically everything you read online in Nigeria is bogus, with the exception of the majority of the images in the article.

The media outlets that copy and paste misleading tweets created by catfishing accounts are the most annoying part of it.

Every news outlet is headed in the same direction, with no verification of the veracity of reports by the journalists.

A well-known media organization would receive millions of dollars to publish a bogus story. They will be joined by dozens of news bloggers to publish the story without any confirmation.

Even on this platform, the management of this forum doesn't even care to verify the numerous bogus news stories and outdated articles that appear on the front page every day.

Even the ones that post fake information on Twitter are quick to make headlines in Nigeria, feeding people with fears, discouraging them with lies, and ruining their thoughts every day with negativity.

I am so hurt by all the false information that is constantly posted on the Nigerian internet.

No propaganda and conspiracy theories without the media.

The media, being profit-oriented, can do unimaginable things.
