Ruggedniggaone: The policy is a good one. Let's not criticize with myopia. Shay you dey eat pass 100k food in a week ni in your house? There's no payment to be made that cannot be done via bank transfers be it school fees, fueling, large grocery shopping etc . Petty ones in local market you can't finish 100k on them. People in rural areas do not even finish 50k in a month. |

Very bad policy from the CBN and Buhari. First it was the recolouring or sorry redesigning of the naira notes and now to the cash withdrawal limit. This shows how inconsiderate this govt is. The CBN governor is bereft of how to manage the financial sector of the country and people should open their eyes to vote out this wicked APC. Some of you are only buying into the foolish stories of stopping kidnappers and looters. At the end it's the common man that suffers |

thebosstrevor1: Are we going to be doing online Transactions with these poor internet connectivity and a bad network from service providers? How many businesses have POS machines to aid online transactions? How about doing an online transfer and it fails cos of poor connection? We want to copy and paste what we see in western world and even want to do it in a fire brigade approach without putting the neccesary modalities and infrastructures in place. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Fearyourcreator: Every decision they make will affect the masses for a short while but on the long run it will make things better. and that's the goal, cos Nigeria has a country is a going concern. |

Re: Cash Withdrawal Limits: Senate Grills CBN Chiefs Tomorrow by Alexbio: 1:28pm On Dec 08, 2022 |
thebosstrevor1: This is a layman understanding! Trash this your perception it's farfetched and flowery! What is the total percentage of Nigerian Population? What is the percentage of people enrolled into the banking system in Nigeria? What's the percentage level of network service of provision in the Nigeria? If you are able to have reasonable answers to these above you should have a proper rethink! The major life wire of Nigeria economy is the market men and and women on the street not the wage earners in Nigeria. Go and meet Iya Alakara in the market and tell her you want to do transfer, ok I just hope this a tentative directive (most likely for the implementation of New Currency notes) from the CBN or else it will cause chaos and agitation in the country. |

thebosstrevor1: Defender of madness, well done. Anyway I wonder why people are crying. By July these nonsensical monetary policies would have been reversed by the new federal administration. It's a six-month duration policy that's definitely going away with Buhari to Daura. |
