The spate of politically induced violence in Rivers State seem to be assuming a worrying dimension as the day passes by. You may recall that last month Atiku's supporters in Omuma were inflicted with bodily injuries for daring to paste the campaign posters of Atiku Abukar in the Local government. Just yesterday, 14th December, 2022, another Atiku Abubakar's supporter that goes by the name Rhino was shot at and the attendant outcome was the shattering of his mouth. This is very pathetic. This just reminded me about the carnage that took place in Rivers state for Wike to emerge as governor in 2015. |
