Yeah..they are scams, tried it....They'll send a random message like the one you posted to some selected people , when you click the link it redirect to whatsapp acct...who briefs you about all the BS....they then send you a link which redirect you to a supposed Receptionist on telegram. The receptionist then directs you to a group created for their escapades where tasks are to be performed by member posted group. Task includes viewing some selected tiktok acct videos and screenshot it and send it to a person called "receptionist" who happened to be an handler. Every member under a receptionist is required to send the screenshot of the tiktok videos watched so as to get paid. The first day you get paid N500 for just watching a video on tiktok. It was so convincing, non raised any suspicion of scam related. The task continued and money increases for just seeing Tiktok videos..and it goes on to a stage where you'll be required to invest with a certain amount to get profits.....RUN FOR YOUR DEAR LIFE!! This people scammed me of my hard earn money. They took almost $60 from me. Pls, avoid them. I'm very sure they will try another strategy if this one stops working for them. |
