Aishah Ahmad, deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), says 500 million new naira notes have been ordered and would be printed soon.

Ahmad spoke on Thursday while being grilled by members of the house of representatives during the plenary session.

In November, President Muhammadu Buhari unveiled the redesigned naira notes of N1000, N500 and N200 denominations.

Since it went into circulation on December 15, there have been complaints of insufficient quantities available at deposit money banks.

The naira currency change or swap seems to be the biggest sensational fraud that would be perpetuated by the CBN and Buhari government.

Imagine a deputy director of the CBN is telling the Senate committee that he does not know how much of the new currencies was minted by the Nigeria Security and Minting agency. Now this one is saying that it was only #500 currency that was minted?

What do i believe now?.

So, the issue of how much was printed by the Central Bank is a secret only known by a few senior officers of the CBN. Wow, a lot must be going on at the CBN.
