Hello, why does my Xiaomi note 11 phone keep refreshing web page when I minimized the browser open another app and immediately come back to the same browser (web page). I have even tried it less than 5 seconds and it does the same thing.

This happens across all browsers (chrome, Firefox, etc) and it also happens with other apps. How do I stop this. My Samsung does not act like that, likewise my iphone.

Go to the settings and disable autorefresh (in some cases, it's called "background refresh"

It's turned on by default to keep pages fully updated.

Go to settings,battery,swipe right,click app battery saver,click on each app and choose no restrictions,
Enjoy.
But with 4gb ram this days,apps are getting more hungry.

Don't buy any Redmi phone less than 6gb RAM.

Bought Redmi 10A 2gb to my utter dismay the phone couldn't multitask at all, had to sell the phone immediately.

my brother d thing tire me also, I'm also using Redmi note 11 and d same issues here, it's called poorly optimisation from miui, back then even my Redmi note 9s can hold up to 10min without closing of apps, make person just get money to buy better Samsung phone not all dis substandard phone.

My 6gb ram was stolen 3 days after I bought it so I decided to buy the 4gb ram the next day, it was a horrible experience I had to sell it and buy IPhone.

olodo its not about the processor. Its either a poorly optimised RAM usage of the device or a bug in the software forcing it to close apps when minimised. 4GB RAM is still good enough to load 3 - 4 apps on the RAM

not likely. Its better if android system fills up the RAM with your most used apps Rather than clearing it up. That way apps load up faster. It shouldn't clear at least 3 recently used app from the memory, even if it's just 4GB of RAM.
