Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi on Friday urged the people of Rivers State to vote massively for the All Progressives Congress ( APC) in the 2023 general elections, saying the people will enjoy the good things as it was in the state between 2007 to 2015 when he was governor.

The former Rivers State Governor made the statement while addressing the people at APC Rivers State Ward campaign in Emohua Local Government Area.

Amaechi asked the people to compare how life was when he was Governor of Rivers from 2007 to 2015 and 2007 to 2022 when Governor Nyesom Wike is in charge. He asked them to give a honest response on which was better. The highly ecstatic crowd shouted "2007 to 2015!".

"Compare the government in Rivers between 2007 to 2015 and 2015 to present, which one is better? If life was better between 2007 to 2015, the reason why life is hard now is because the government is bad".

"When we were in government, we realised that you had challenges in medical, we built health centre's. We realised that your children need to go to school, we built schools. We realised that you didn't have money to pay school fees, we paid school fees".

" These people came but put the money in their pockets instead of serving you. Be rest assured that if we win, we will serve you".

"But most importantly, don't just sit here. Go and get people out of their houses to vote APC. You must go out there and sell our programmes to the Rivers people. We will win the election" he assured.

Given what the APC has subjected this nation to in the past 7 years? Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi must be an idiot if truly he made this statement. These people see every Nigerian as a moronic cow they can tell any shitcrap.

As the 2023 general elections beckon, Nigerians and people of goodwill should come together and make sure that the APC and its Leadership does not have access to power again. This clarion call becomes necessary because APC is a Party that is made up of strange bedfellows whose political and economic interests are antithetical to the development of Delta State in particular and Nigeria in general.

The struggle for power, "grab-grab" and if "it is not me, it cannot be another person's mentality" of APC Leaders is what has brought Nigeria on her knees today! The above analogy properly fits the APC Leaders. They do not hear the hue and cry of the majority of their followers, and Nigerians who are living in abject poverty!

To show their dangerous and embarrassing level of wickedness, they use their political parrots and emissaries of confusion who have sold their souls to mammon to defend the indefensible; even in the face of a threat to peace and existence of Nigerians!(Criminal Mentality Will Not Work Again In Nigeria Reject APC).

Nonsense!

What meaningful thing did he do in Rivers state when he was the governor? Even as a minister he has done nothing meaningful.

Don't be deceived by any Nigerian politician, all of them don't care about the common man......they went into politics to enrich themselves and not to serve.

Ameachi is right about the health centres and schools. Wike abandoned primary health and basic education. No promotion /employment in the civil service. No gratuity for pensioners yet he keeps donating and sponsoring other states' PDP excos. Ameachi isn't a Saint either but he got this right. Wike couldn't even sustain the little achievement Ameachi had in agriculture.

What about the transport university he promised ubima people?
Who.listens to Amaechi these days!

Amaechi tenure is miles ahead of Peter Odili, Celestine Omehia and Nyesom Wike.
Chibuike Amaechi is the best Governor of Rivers state in the 4th republic.
He performed better than his predecessors and his successor.
I miss the days of CarniRIV, RSSDA, Government Model schools, Songhai farms, RTC,etc.

Diette spiff was a military administrator/Governor appointed by Yakubu Gowon in 1967.
My emphasis is on democratically elected Governors.
Melford okilo also performed during his tenure 1979-1984 but Amaechi is ahead.

The infrastructure are misplaced my dear. For example, the bridges at GRA junction, waterlines junction and even artillery shouldn't have been. An interchange at garrison and the one at Eleme junction would have served the purpose.
Remove all those round about, make all cars go to the interchange at Eleme or Garrison to turn.
Another thing I discovered is that wike built bridges and roads around his investments. He dualised the eastern bypassaxis because of his estate there and his hypercity. He did GRA junction and internal GRA toads because of hyper city there. He did that of ikokwu because of the hyper city there. We are waiting for him to start something at slaughter even tho there is nothing spectacular to add to that axis. There will be anhypercity there too. There's a hyper city coming on around Rumuokuta hence the road expansion and bridge. It is bone thing to build fit for purpose infrastructure and another thing to just site these infrastructure indiscriminately

Let Rivers people compare and tell us. One tool Wike has been using is projects show off and it has been working for him because people have been falling for it.

Roads and bridges are good but that’s not all what governance is about
