The demography of Abuja favours the candidate of LP, Madam Ireti. FTC used to be PDP playground but that is not again with LP coming on board.

She is a Yoruba and married to a northerner. She speaks Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo fluently. She has name recognistion having contested in the primaries for several cycle.

She is contesting on a very popular party headed by Peter Obi that has big followership in Abuja.

Emotional sentiment by indigenes would not play a major path in this election and moreover Senator Philip Aduda has been there without any requisite achievement for the indigenes.

The indigenes would have stopped her if they impressed on all political parties to nominate only indigenes as their candidates not on the general election where they are in the minority.
