This is just simply saying12,000 tech individuals to join the unemployed market this first half of the year.

How long before all of them gets another job? This is the only fact I can think about on this issue.

Not all employees at Google work in tech roles

The way all these companies make some of their announcements, you get that sick and worrying feeling that they are all the same company working under different names.

The implications of this ChatGPT in Nigeria will be quite devastating.
Our business models and processes aren't highly specialized; so expect more AI automation in the coming years.

Top of the list I envisage repercussions are:-

1. Customer Care desks and Call Centers
2. Retail banking
3. Drop shipping merchants
4. IT Industry will be more streamlined

Other industries that may benefit are:-
1. Power sector (every IT innovation needs electricity)
2. Real estate (the computers and their programmers need a sheltered space to work)
3. Logistics (there will be less human-to-human Customer interaction. But the transfer of goods would require more human input)
4. Agriculture (man must chop...job or no job)

Hmm. My friend got a job in Google Nigeria late last year. Make them no pursue her abeg.

12,000 people losing their jobs, equals at least 24,000 dependants o. In Nigeria, the number of dependants would be higher.

There is no time they will talk about anything official that you won't have a friend involved, sha tell that your friend in NNPC people in my garage need fuel at reasonable hiked price and also your childhood friend in CBN if he can supply new note thru backdoor.

Good.

Nothing better than to see smug leftist soy boys thrown into the real world.

Meta has been losing tonnes of money over their gamble of having their now dead and buried metaverse replace conventional office space.

If we even consider that a vast majority of laid off staff had useless work titles like "Diversity inclusion department" then you will see this lay off as a good thing.

Elon sacked over 80% of Twitter commissars and for the first time, Twitter is generating revenue.

But wetin sweet me die over this mass lay off in Meta is the fact that some of the sacked idiots worked on codes to bring AI into existence , now with AI, nobody needs useless coders anymore as AI can generate its own code .

This should serve as a lesson to all useful idiots out there- the revolution consumes those who brought it into fruition.

FCK Jews.

FCK leftist fcks

FCK meta and jewbook

FCK Larry Fink and Blackrock

And FCK every wannabe coder.

C++ rules supreme over your Java, HTML and shitty Python.

These problems are comming from the Russia-Ukraine war. Instead of them to come to the negotiating table and end it, their ego is just too big for them to drop. Hope they drop it before they consume the world with their stupidity.
