Residents in Benin are seriously protesting about the price of fuel which is sold in some filling stations for #550-#700 and also the unavailability of the fuel in the country making things so difficult for common man. They actually actually started this protest yesterday which on the 30th of January. As I am talking now, most businesses including schools are closed or are not fully open in areas like sapele road, upper sakponba, kingsquare(ring road) as the residents are displaying their displeasure. Is there any protest in your area. It's quite disappointing that fuel is been sold #500 plus and stations and NLC and all other trade unions and activists are suddenly on house arrest and mute mode. This couldn't have happened if the presidency were from the South. Nonsense |
