The Super Eagles have launched their new Glo-branded jerseys.

The team came out in a sparkling new Glo-branded training wear for the first time last on Monday preparatory to their postponed international friendly against Ghana in London.

The squad was decked in their new outfit which has the Glo logo prominently displayed under the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) badge for their trainings and during the world press conference at Vicarage Road Stadium, Watford.

The Super Eagles also used the opportunity to take group promotional photographs for the sponsoring company, Globacom.

The international friendly match between Nigeria and Ghana has however been postponed due to the London riots.

It will be recalled that telecommunication giant, Globacom, signed a five-year sponsorship agreement with the NFF in July this year worth about N1.8billion naira.

this is not a wise decision by nff - we may be the only country with an advertisement logo on its jersey. This demeans and belittles the national team. A national team is not supposed to advertise a product or company on its shirt and i think this is even against fifa rules cry cry cry

What kind of country is this? Where on earth do you see every man and his dog appear in the nationa team's kit launching? I mean for goodness sake can't we just have the players and the manager in the photo?
Re: Super Eagles Launch Glo-branded Jerseys In London by mensdept: 4:55am On Sep 16, 2011
FRANKLY, the new kits suck. In fact, we've had shitty kits for the last 8 years, and currently, our kits and our team are below average and are plain. What happened to those 94 jerseys and the 96 kits, or players?

Didn't you read it is for training only? Or is glo no longer Nigerian?

When your national teams wear adidas branded jerseys, are they not endorsing adidas?
