As the 2023 presidential election counts down to its point of denouement, with endless banter from different political players who are on top of themselves with the singular mission of planting their preferred candidates, some voices of reason have risen to make case for the need to embrace reality over sentiments, an omen that has been prevalent in the political space to date.

Prominent among these voices is a political juggernaut and grassroots mobilizer, renowned for his unflinching position in support of good governance in Nigeria and Africa at large, Chief Dr. Emeka Kalu, the convener of Global Initiative for Good Governance, GIGG, who has called on Nigerians to be careful to make an informed decision in 2023 as any error will further relegate the nation to the abyss and path of a failed state, insisting that the nation at this point needs a leader with capacity and requisite experience to unite the country as Nigeria cannot progress without working as a single unit with one purpose.

In a press statement he signed and made available to the media, Dr. Kalu, who is also the National Coordinator of PDP Coalition said that his call is coming on the conviction that among all the contestants, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar remains the only leader with the capacity to bring Nigerians together in unity as a Patriotic Nationalist who has dealt with all sections of Nigeria without segregation as witnessed during his shot as VP where he assembled the best brains in Nigeria as leader of the economic team that brought about most of the little development we still enjoy today as a nation.

"I am not discarding other candidates, but Atiku by all ramifications is the most qualified and fitting for Nigeria considering the time we live in. He is the man with the tenacity to tackle the myriad of problems in this country and steer Nigeria away from the mucky waters.

"I have been silent for a while and have taken time to observe the state of the nation, I am certain that if we must get it right, Atiku is our best bet as a people. We must do away with tribal and religious sentiments and face the reality of the existential threat facing Nigeria.

"With the instability eating up Nigeria from fuel scarcity to money scarcity, it is clear that if Nigeria is handed over to just any person, they will be overwhelmed by the situation that may escalate to chaos. But with Atiku in charge, Nigeria will speedily recover", he insisted.

Meanwhile, the electoral body, INEC, has expressed worry that due to the prevailing fuel and fund scarcity experienced in the country today, the election scheduled for 25th February and 11th March may be affected. Another concern is the danger of insecurity in many parts of the country. That notwithstanding, Nigerians are optimistic that a new nation will emerge after 25th February 2023., Insha Allah (God Willing)

Atiku and Tinubu should be resting with their grandchildren and great grandchildren by now with their looted funds.. I don't know they are still looking for again ..

BASED ON THE PROJECTIONS MADE SO FAR,ONLY A GOOD TURN OUT CAN MAKE OBI TO WIN THIS ELECTION.. OBIDIENTS PLEASE ENDEAVOUR TO TURN OUT THAT DAY.. A SINGLE VOTE MATTERS.. TELL YOUR FAMILY, FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES.

IF YOU DON'T TURN OUT TO VOTE AND RAMAIN AN ONLINE NOISE MAKER, CRIMINALS WILL HIJACK THIS COUNTRY AGAIN FOR ANOTHER 8 YEARS. 8 YEARS IS TOO LONG FOR NIGERIANS TO KEEP SUFFERINGS.

PLEASE VOTE FOR PETER OBI
GOD BLESS US
