Senator Aduda's 20-year Re-election Bid Sparks Mixed Reactions by Dproperties: 9:09am On Feb 20, 2023
Senator Philips Tanimu Aduda, who has represented the Federal Capital Territory in Nigeria's National Assembly for the past 20 years, is seeking re-election for a fifth term in the Senate.

During his time in office, Aduda has sponsored bills and motions aimed at improving his constituency, such as the establishment of the FCT Emergency Management Agency and provision of security for the FCT.

However, his re-election bid has sparked mixed reactions from Nigerians.

Once a Senator is working hard for the good of his people, his constituents would be comfortable re-electing him over and over.

Its left for his constituents to know when to retire him, and support others.

Some younger candidates may still not perform as well as he has if given the opportunity. However he should be able to groom other younger leaders to take over from him. He won't be there forever.

The choice is left to his constituents to decide

This man will lose as he has nothing to offer again.

20 years na ministry work...this election would prove to him that his time has come to leave the scene for others.

The way we are going to vote in this election is:

President LP

AND others LP
This senator that paid some miscreants to attack law abiding citizens during the end SARS crisis.

His day of pay back has come.

Aduda shouldn't have applied for this job again no matter how good he may have performed.

He'll have to fight hard this time around.

No PDP or APC Senator or representative. The only way Nigeria can change is with laws not by any president. We can only get better if we have lawmakers making laws and making sure there are no loopholes. We need to retire all the current ones.
