Religiously,they are fanatics.they were the first to embrace sharia,the mm ticket is lovely to them.liberals like atiku are repulsive to them.atiku get 40% in sokoto,got over 300k in katsina which borders zamfara but couldn't get 20% in zamfara.

You have a point but you forgot that the political indices in the south is different from the north.voting in north is decided by moral issues and not really performance while performance matters down south.again,the guber is taking two weeks after the presidentialr.the northerners are politically sophisticated and know how to differentiate.
