Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila failed to deliver his polling unit to the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi won the unit.

Tinubu  got 69 votes while Obi garnered 89 votes at the polling unit located at  Elizabeth Fowler Primary in Surulere.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar got only 5 votes.

The turnout at the unit was not impressive as only 184 people were accredited in the unit that has 668 voters.

Most states have strongholds. If you see only results from a stronghold, you'll think the entire state is sure for a certain candidate.

Tinubu is still the frontrunner. I'll only start warming up to a possible Atiku win when the Northern state results start rolling in with a comfortable berth in his favor. Obi and K are local champions.

Guy all of us na PDP men.

Nairaland dey faceless, but we all get tendrils to feel the pulse.

Obi is outperforming. Tinubu still dey hold ground. For the first time since the start of the 4th Republic, PDP dey rely on structure to win polling unit for SS. Not to inflate votes, but simply to win. Structure dey suppress vote by telling Obi voters to go home if them no dey thumbprint Umbrella. Polling unit near government house for Asaba dey vote Obi. Delta North leave their son when give them University, tar all their roads, vote Obi.

If e rough like this for South, how e go b for North when Tinubu and K na alternative.

Na North go need come through for Atiku, if not e go red for am.
