Nigerians are sentimental people. They don't reason with their heads. Majority of the people that participated in this election voted a candidate because they're of thesame tribe or religion. Yorubas voted Tinubu of the west, some Northerners supported APC because of Shettima and the rest supported PDP because of Atiku. Christians from the middle belt voted Obi because they felt it was wrong for Tinubu to make a Muslim his running mate. It doesn't matter to them whether obi was qualified or north. The way things are we are never getting things right anytime soon, not even in the next 100 years
