One defeat, and the Obedients won't let us hear word. As Buharists, we have stomached three consecutive defeats and finally won on the fourth try. The path to success is never easy, and it's often littered with thorns. The sooner the Obedients realize this, the better for their peace and sanity. Doubling down on lies and propaganda did not win the elections for them, and it certainly won't get them back a lost mandate.
As repentant Buharists, we cried ourselves horse trying to make them see reason why splitting Atiku's votes would not get them anywhere. Unfortunately, emotions and impressionism got the better part of them. Now, they are trying to decipher what hit them.
When I was young, there was a story of an ajebutter boy that got into a fisticuff with the son of a farmer. The ajebutter boy got a bare hand dirty slap that temporarily blinded him. When people intervened and began to pacify the ajebutter boy, he asked that he was willing to let go of the matter but on the condition that the farmer's son produces the piece of wood that he used to slap him.
This election was the first time that Igbos have come closer to smelling the presidency since forever. But instead of celebrating the success, strategizing, and reaching out to build bridges and extend a handshake across the Niger, they are busy lying to themselves that they have won an election they had no realistic path of winning. Yes, the election was not perfect, and there was rigging on both sides. However, not on the scale that would tip the balance in favor of Peter Obi.
I am all for an Igbo presidency in the interest of inclusiveness, but power is not handed a la carte. Until Igbos learn politics the hard way, they will never smell the presidency in this country.
Let's come together as a nation and work towards a common goal, regardless of our political affiliations or ethnic backgrounds. This is especially important for the Igbos. Instead of lying to ourselves and trying to decipher what went wrong, let's learn from our mistakes and build bridges across the Niger. We can create a nation that we can all be proud of.

This is also what led to the civil war.

Immediately Gowon came into power, ojukwu disagreed whereas it was a successful coup..

Obi came 3rd yet he is claiming he won the election what about Atiku that came 2nd what will now be his own fate?

Agbado republic neither igbo, hausa or yoruba. They are benefactor of this rotten system. Don't buy this idea of sectionalizing event again in Nigeria. They are about to concentrate talking to igbos as if to say it was only igbos that voted. Every tribe voted. So let everyone start telling them it wasn't only igbos that voted. This guy's have studied the system with their weaknesses. Average easterner always wish his or her name to be mentioned all the time. Now let igbos defeat this name calling and educate whoever wanted to bring up igbos voted him, that every tribe voted. This is the fact. I know there is always ukpabia asika, ndi Agbodo republic.

The saying that "an oppressed people behave foolishly" couldn't have been more apt. What is wrong in approaching the court of law to seek redress?
Buhari went to court severally beginning from 2003 when he lost against OBJ, Y'ardua and even GEJ. So PO should just allow the daylight political robbery that took place last Saturday to go unchallenged so that he can build 'bridges'? The mandate PO is in custody of was given to him by Nigerians and not Igbos and the earlier you under that, the better for you.
