The money Tinubu spent on INEC is enough to offset Nigeria's debt.

And how are they able to borrow Nigeria money too?

You failed to mention who they owe the debt. grin grin

USA found ways to rope everyone into their shenanigans.

USA can load up the paper and J. Powell will signal to print US out of debt. US dollar is still the reserve currency. Can any other country print US currency? Or as usual, they will change the Accounting standards and move the zeros---debt eliminated. But there are no incentives to do that. Debt ensures that citizens of the world remain obedient slaves. There is no better control mechanism.

And that is the hidden truth.
US owes almost all the debt to themselves and can simply print dollars and wipe it out. Same with money they owe to, say, China.
It is like saying Dangote loaned some Naira to CBN!

indebtedness is a relative metric.
If two workers exists, worker A & worker B.
Worker A earns 100k and owes N1m, but worker B earns 500k and owes N2m.
It means worker A may need 10 month salary to pay off his debt but worker B will do that in just 4 months, though with a higher amount to pay. Indebtedness is relative and is tied to GDP, IGR and overall earnings of those nations.

Do you expect OP to relate debt level in local currencies and spark a conversion headache for readers?
Debt is debt and US, though can decide to, dare not print local currencies the way you guys are speculating. It will spark inflation fire. What I don't like about OP's method of stating indebtedness, is ignoring size of economy(GDP, IGR).

Please don't be deceived, all these advanced countries debts are not actually debts they are using it to deceive poor countries, have u ever asked your self , who is USA, China, France, Britain, who are they owing? If china is is owing USA and USA is owing China then they balance d debt and cancel out, if u say it is world bank, who owns d money in d world bank, how can usa and China be giving billions out yet owing billions, something is wrong.
These money they say d developed countries are owing is actually d money their populace are owing their government ,like subsidies
,loans, grants, tuition fees, in real sense is never a debt, your wife is owing u yet u are giving her feeding money every day,.they also practice what is called credit system, in which a credit card is given to u , u spend money u don't have and owe d government.
D money owed by poor third world and African countries are d ones that are real debts , it is owed to d rich countries like China , Britain and usa, and because of it they deal with u any how.

That's a very good question!! But the problem is that if explained to you why, you won't believe it because it's a scam that even an Ngozi Okonjo Iweala grade of economists fall for and have no idea what's it's about.

I don't know where to begin to explain it because topics Ike this have remote causes that needs to be explained in a paragraph or two.

But let me try....

In brief, this problem began in 1973 when a US president, Nixon removed gold as the guarantee of real money or if you like; as the backer of real money. This means that the US can print any amount of paper and give it to another country as real money.

The other top counties learned the trick. That's enough background for now.

The US, UK, Germany, France, all those top developed countries run national scams called treasury bills, bonds, etc. Through their global control and stooges in government across the world, sell PAPER documents as money. They get other countries to sign documents that they have invested in US treasuries, bonds, etc but the money doesn't exist!! That's, they use their image to sell paper (non-existing money) to other countries and collect real money from them.

The counties the US so called owe are China, Japan, etc, other top counties who bought paper from the US. But in reality, the US doesn't owe anybody a dime. It's a scam!!
Hard to believe. One thingbi am sure of is their production level are so robust, they can easily back up those bonds with actual goods and services.
