Okay we have heard you guys.

We will stop selling land to Igbo's in particular, let's see how hunger go kill us.

You people are really very funny, you want to be hiding behind your keyboard and be putting unnecessary pressure on your people residing in any part of SW.

How old is some of you self?
Are your people not living in other region ?

What favour are you doing for the Igbos in Lagos ?

Don't you see how activities drop drastically in Lagos during the Christmas period when the Igbos travel home for festivities?

If Igbos leave Lagos wetin go remain for Lagos

Are my people disrespecting their hosts?

I remember the other time when some Yoruba's had issues with their host in Akwa Ibom state, we Yoruba's simply advised them that if they can't abide by the law of the land, they should return back to SW.

We respect ourselves reason why we always respect both our hosts and our visitors.

Can same be said about your region?

You claimed that you're respectful but you don't want your visitors to vote for candidate of there choice

Are there no Yoruba people living in the north or south east , did the Hausas or Igbos dictate to them who to vote for?

Senate Presidency: APC Zones Out Lawan, Akpabio Others

After weeks of tension and uncertainty, the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Thursday released lists of principal officers of the 10th National Assembly, where the aspirations of the Senate President, Dr. Ahmed Lawan, Godswill Akpabio and others were dashed with outright zoning of the position to Southeast region.

This zoning has finally laid to rest the general controversy surrounding who becomes the next President of the Senate and other Principal Officers of the 10th National Assembly.

The party said this move was in line to strictly narrow contestants to the position of Senate President and other positions to embrace the zoning formula in order to swap offices held between the six geo-political zones in the country.

In essence, the Southeast will produce the next President of the Senate, North West,
Deputy Senate President, Southsouth, Senate Majority Leader, Southwest, Senate Majority Chief Whip,
North Central,
Speaker, House of Representatives, Southwest, Deputy Speaker, North East,
House Majority Leader and Southsouth, House Majority Whip.

However, party sources claimed that the South-East was the target of the agreement, adding that top hierarchy of the APC may have agreed on a power-sharing arrangement ahead of the inception of the 10th National Assembly by June 2023.

This was as the party instructed that all its Senators-elect, and Members-elect must come on the same page, having put behind them events of the recent past, which threatened the party to its roots.

The February 25, 2023, President and National Assembly elections had a total of seven political parties contested for Senatorial seats with APC topping the list with 57 seats.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won 29 seats; Labour Party six; New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) two; Social Democratic Party (SDP) also two; the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and Young Peoples Party (YPP) won one seat each.

As the tradition spelled on every four years transition programme, the President-elect taking oath of office on May 29, 2023, he will by early June, transmit a proclamation letter to the National Assembly to terminate the Ninth Assembly and kick-start the 10th Assembly.

Right on the list of contestants for Chairman of the 10th National Assembly are, Senators Orji Uzor, Kalu, (Abia) , Barau Jubril, (Kano), Sani Musa (Niger), Osita Izunaso, (Imo), Godswill Akpabio, (Akwa Ibom) among others.
I don't believe this trash...so u mean senate president will be going go the southeast with zero electoral value while tdhe north central and west watch the people that actually determined our (APC) victory in the Just concluded general elections. I don't see reality in the assertion above.
