Jesus Christ was never interested nor ever commented on the politics of Israel. He did not care about the occupation and rulership of Israel by the Roman empire, a whole occupation over God's people. He was only concerned about the kingdom of God in men's hearts. All he said was give to Ceasar what belongs to ceaser (i.e obey your government and pay your taxes). But there's a way to set things right in this world. Participate in politics when opportunity arise. Make positive change there even if it's for a day. Resign if you think you ll be soiled. You guys said your publications are free but still use style to collect donations. They do am free without collecting donations naa. Odebayo4010: The reason why you are still able to attend that Jehovah Witness in Nigeria is because some Christians contested election and are occupying political offices such as Governors, Senators etc. If all Christians in Nigeria accept the myopic teachings of JW, the Muslims will take over all political positions in Nigeria. Hence we will have a Muslim president, a Muslim vice president, 36 Muslim Governors, 109 Muslim senators and 360 Muslim Representatives. They will then simply pass a law making Nigeria a Muslim country hence legally closing all churches in Nigeria. We have seen this happen in Turkey. renderme: The Bible says that God's people perish for lack of Knowledge ( Hosea 4:6). Each person created by God has a divine destiny. In Luke 4: 18, Jesus Christ stated His destiny on Earth. He was anoited by God to be a deliverer. God also anoited Paul to be an apostle. However the same God anoited David to be a King. Hence while Jesus and Paul's destiny has nothing to do with politics, David was anoited to be a politician. Just like David, God has anoited many Christians today to be politicians . These Christians are to protect the Christian religion in their country and ensure that the Christians who are apostles and preachers are not persecuted by the government. If these Christians in Nigeria don't contest and win election, the Muslims will take over all political offices in Nigeria, rewrite the Constitution and make Nigeria a core Muslim country. Hence all churches in Nigeria including Jehovah witness will be closed down by the Government. |
