The results of the presidential and gubernatorial elections have shown that Yorubas didn’t play any tribal politics. LPs win in Lagos was orchestrated by both Igbo and Yoruba youths, I remember mentioning this to my Igbo Neighbour and she was having none of it as she didn’t want to share the glory of winning with any other group but the south easterners, basically insinuating that the Igbo people had enough mouth in Lagos is why the results came out like that. She wanted to wallow in the ignorance that the Igbo in Lagos were now a majority bloc. Fast forward to governorship election and we can’t find the majority she was trying to claim. This shows that the additional votes that the indigenes untribalistically gave Obi we’re withdrawn and given to Sanwoolu.
