Kishida arrived in Kyiv on Tuesday afternoon local time, and also traveled to Bucha, the town just north of the Ukrainian capital that has become synonymous with Russian atrocities and alleged war crimes.
Emine Dzheppa, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, said the country “is happy to welcome” the Japanese premier.

The country is economically tied to China, evidenced by her dragging feet in joining the ban with the US and Netherlands to stop supplying chip-making chemicals and materials to China. Bros, East Asians and I think South East Asians are not that stoopid to openly attack China. The weakest link might be Phillippines, but South Korea and Japan are not that stoopid to attack their biggest economic partner. It is just a visit to soothe his American masters. Na ordinary Ukrainians I dey laugh. Japan still purchases crude oil from Russia as I write. Japanese companies are still operating in Russia, selling goods and services. The companies are saying they cannot leave their investments just like that. Russians can still fly into Hokkaido and surrounding areas.
