Do police have the power to ban a protest?

Police are even the key part of the rigging machineries which these protesters are registering their discontentment with.

Nigeria is a democracy indeed.

Do we ever protest in peace in this part of the world. In any Nigerian protest, only 5% are genuine, the others are opportunists and charlatans.
u are right, that's why government don't take protest serious in Nigeria. But in many sane countries, protest work. We have two types of protest in Nigeria. Is either opposite paid u to protest, or government distabilise real protest by sending thugs and other machineries to disrupt the protests like they did during endsars.

Protests are a constitutional right in Democracy.

The Police should not ban protests but should be there to protect protesters and maintain law and order.

Where did the police get power to ban protests? Nigeria is indeed a shit hole.
Honestly that's what am thinking right now. I don't know if there is any section or degree that forbid it. If we did not reject this evil order, then other CPs will follow suit to suppress peoples voices.

Must they be naked? Kids are everywhere.
That's should make any reasonable government to attend to them quickly, than to suppress them entirely.
Remember what goes round turns around.
