Civil servants in Osun Stae have been given a reason why their March salaries have been delayed by some days.
Naija News reports that Governor Ademola Adeleke has assured them of their March salaries in a couple of days.

According to the governor, the salaries were delayed because the state government is working towards making payment of promotion arrears.

Adeleke in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed in Osogbo, explained that the March salaries would come with the payment of promotion arrears.

He said it was the ongoing computation of promotion arrears of civil servants promoted without pay in the last four years that had caused a delay in the March salaries.

If you dont hav any meaningful thing to say, go and sleep.

Which useless promotion arrears is to be the reason for delayed payment of the salary ?

Was the entire work force promoted ?

Politics in Nigeria is disgusting.
It is as disgustingly malicious as even the people at the top themselves.
It is what happens when instead of us to elect humble people with a spirit of servitude, we instead go for power-hungry individuals.

This man was allegedly removed with a verdict that contains 'buga and lo lo'; till today, I find that hard to believe. Now look up there; some folks are attacking his perchance for dancing again; instead of sticking to the facts of the matter🤦🏾‍♂️

Every leader has and will continue to have their private lives; however, we should learn to separate that from their actual public office expectations.

I think he should not allow the arrears to delay the recurring salaries. Even if the calculation will increase some civil servant's salaries, his government can just pay tentatively using the current payroll, then pay the arrears within the month; before the next month end.

According to the governor, the salaries were delayed because the state government is working towards making payment of promotion arrears.

This is good but He should know that Osun people are not used to delayed salary payment. They’re used to receiving their money before end month..

Today is April 1 without payment yet which is bad. He should pay the salary then add the arrears during the next payment schedule..

Lol. I doubt you’re from Osun or you’ve ever been to Osun. Which workers are happy? Workers that are used to getting paid before end month are now happy that payment are being delayed?

You people should not deceive guy. His intention is good but he could release salaries now then arrears would follow during the next payment schedule..
