Buhari is the most corrupt and wicked president Nigeria ever had.
A man protested and said Fuel is a Fraud, came to be President and was allowing Fuel Subsidy (after increasing pump price) and yet paying 5 times more than previous govt was paying as subsidy.
And under his govt, 80% of Nigeria crude is being stolen without any one caught while he is the President and Minister of Petroleum.

My question is: Buhari (who said subsidy is a Fraud) why didn't heremove the subsidy during his tenure as president? Why deciding to remove it just by end of his tenure.
The wicked criminal he is, he used subsidy to loot and then turn around to tell Nigerians that he intends to remove it before another govt comes.
Is he the one to decide for another govt? Wicked thieving hypocrite.

I support Labour on this. Minimum wage must be increased to cater for effect of removal.
its crap.. Increasing minimum wage has not change anything over the years, once they increase minimum wage.. House rent will increase, school fees will increase, food prices will increase, service price will increase, tax will increase, the naira will plunge further against the dollar, imported items price will increase so its back to square one.. Nothing changes....

The only way out is if we accept that the price of tomatoes up north and beef up north is not the same with South and no subsidy.. Same should be applied to petroleum products too... Cos the subsidy was meant to have a uniform price regime all over the country has cost of transport... That has to be removed.. The price of fuel in portharcourt can't be the same with price of fuel in dutse Jigawa.

It's southern turn, NLC suddenly gets activated. Buhari messed Nigeria up with several negative policies and nothing happens

The foundation of Nigerian was placed on corruption and selfish interest that is why everyone takes advantage of any opportunities that comes their ways
A country that does not understand the meaning of humanity and does not have the fear of God at heart will always do things wrongly and selfishly.

There will be no new protest. We will only continue the protests from where Tinubu and Buhari stopped at Ojota in 2012, where both of them were shouting "subsidy is a fraud".

That's unfair to Tinubu's Government ... Buhari never made budgetary provisions for subsidy beyond June

It's better to suffer this once and for all, and hope Dangote Refinery gives relief later this year than continue using all our resources to subsidize fuel for West Africa

We must suffer this painful subsidy removal once and for all

Imagine what $16 billion USD can do in Nigeria

Loans for startup
ASUU money for university
Student Loan
More Allocation for poor State like Abia

.

What are you suffering once and for all? With pms at N800/ltr you think an average Nigerian can weather it? Stay there be deceiving yourself listening to cleptomaniac Tinubu and his fellow lying thiefs, una eyes go clear by the time prices of goods and services quadruple. The same idiots that deny existence of subsidy while opposing Jonathan in 2015 suddenly wake up to remove their subsidy that didn't exist. They ought to apologize to Nigerians first instead of trying to coerce then to accept the subsidy they once called fraud. Awon eleribu. Turbulent times lies ahead of Tinubu, sebi e sabi play a toxic opposition, his retribution is ahead waiting for him. They say he who sow wind, reap whirlwind.

I laugh at the NLC.

They will only accept subsidy removal once the government owned refineries are working!

They are fully aware Dangote refinery can produced enough refined oil to satisfy Nigeria and export but they reckon that because it's profit oriented, it's prices will be higher.

They want the local refineries to sell at public friendly prices.

I see an Mtel like saga resurfacing again. Mtel was the government owned mobile carrier that priced its calls at N22 vs the market determined price of the private owned carriers MTN and ECOBET at 50 per minute.

MTN and ECONET (now Airtel) are still with us. MTEL faded away completely years ago. It went under.

These NLC boys want to turn Nigeria into Argentina or want to argentinize the Nigerian economy by sticking to populist fiscal reckless by the hubris of people who talk what the people want to hear rather than make hard decisions.

Tinubu should take away import permits from independent marketers of petroleum products and open up departments in core MDAs (Petroleum, Industry, Finance) in the petroleum sector for that sole purpose till we are able to stabilize oil and gas price.. The marketers are the main crooks killing our Oil and gas sector because of the excessive gain they want to make out of importation.

They formed cabal to make sure none of our refineries ever function and are now threatening to make life unbearable for Nigerians when subsidy is removed which will not fly. Infact government should charge the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on enforcement such that any marketer be it multinational or indigenous that misbehaves should be deregistered as a business entity in Nigeria with immediate effect. DSS should get the power to hold and detain the MDs/CEOs of such coys indefinitely.

This rubbish of price fixing by selfish individuals in the Oil sector in Nigeria MUST End.

Can anything good come from a drug lord?
