The Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria has warned President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration not to arrest Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi and his running mate Datti Baba-Ahmed for treason.

The church’s Supreme Head, Prophet Solomon Alao, warned that arresting Obi and Datti would inflame the political situation.

In his Easter message on Sunday, Alao stated that rather than threatening the opposition, the Federal Government should assure them of justice in court.
